After creating a Limited User account in Windows XP, I cannot access files
already created on my USB External Hard Drive, when trying to deleted or
rename a file it says "Access Denied" or "Read Only" I cannot even change the
    file attributes,
have to log in as administrator to work with the files.

How can I grant Limited User Account access to files on my USB Drive?

Something I'd like to add, when I create a new file on the USB Drive, with
the Limited User Account i can change the new files attributes, name and even
    delete it.

Why can I not change existing file attributes? rename them? or even deleted
    them? why not??

I managed to figure it out myself, don't know if there is a better solution

    1) Log in as Administrator
    2) Right click on the Root Folder, or Root Drive Letter (for the USB Drive)
    3) Click on the Properties Context Menu Item
    4) Click on the Sharing Tab,
    5) At bottom check the following two checkboxes:
    * Share this Folder on the Network
    * Allow Network Users to Change my Files

Then log off and log in with the Limited User Account

You will not be able to rename, delete and change the attributes of existing
files on that USB external drive.

Worked for me, hope it can help someone else,
