Windows 2003 Server and HP networked printers:

Is there a way to get a listing (print out?) of the IP addresses of all of
our [HP 8000's] printers, either by doing some sort of AD search, through a
web browser interface, or thru an HP utility? Sometimes a network printer
needs to be cold reset. When this happens the static IP address gets
dropped. We like to put the IP address back to what they were before they
needed to be reset. Suggestions? Thank you.

Firstly, don't use static addresses. Use DHCP addresses with reservations,
so that they always get the same address.

Same here, I have more than 250 printers on my network, but I don't know how
to get the IP address of all of them. The only thing I can do right now is
to keep track of all ip that I assigned to the printer.

You can try this on the command line.
    C:\>wmic
    wmic:root\cli>printer

This will list all maps printer on your computer or server if you perform
    this command on server.
Now you want to import it to the html format then type this:
    wmic:root\cli>/output:c:\printerlog.htm printer get drivername, portname
    /format:htable

Then open the printerlog.htm on C drive or you can even import it to excel
    format too.

If anyone has better way, please show me. Thanks.
