Live 365 and other streaming services

  1. Probably because I am in the U.K. the posted services of CinemaNow, Napster
and Live365 etc are not appearing in my MCE.
Live365 have answered my questions about this with the link
    http://www.live365.com/mediacenter/
This gives me an 'MCE like' view on Live365 in IE and I can sign in and use
it. Is there anyway I can get this URL into the MCE menu somehow?
Does any other U.K. user have access to this or the other MCE services that
    are posted under
    http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/mediacenter/evaluation/onlinespotlight.asp?

  2. I joined as a preferred member but it doesn't seem to recognize this
in Live365 while running Media Center.
It works OK when I access via IE, but I often get the repeated "This
station is only available to preferred members. To Become a
    preferred member, visit www.live365.com/preferredmember.

    Ugh!

This is really frustrating as I had received word from live365 that
all I need to do was login once via IE and that it would create a
cookie on the machine that would then be referenced while in media
    center.
I don't have any cookie-blocking settings on but still no go.

Any one else here a preferred member that can either validate that
this is a problem or tell me that they haven't experienced it?

    Thanks!

  4. I am in the UK but am able to get the Live365 acess thru' Media Center.
I don't get auto logged in either, but by going to 'Home/ VIP Sign up/Become
a VIP' that will switch to IE and give a username/password box. Once logged
in, clicking the Back button on the remote goes back into Live365 with my
    account settings.
