    Hi.

I was trying to run some programs in win2k installed in my
virtual pc, and was unsuccessful. The state bar informs me
that the live resolution switching is turned off. may i
know how could i turn it on? thx.

  2. Live resolution switching is disabled if VPC detects that a program running
in the guest tries to programmatically change the guest's resolution. This
was done because programs that change the resolution usually don't expect to
have it changed again behind their back (and will crash if the resolution is
changed). IIRC, you can clear this message by opening up the Display control
panel in the guest and choosing a different resolution. VPC will take that
as a clue that it's once again safe to enable live resolution switching.

I don't think this warning is related to your inability to run some programs
in Win2K. What problems did you encounter? Did you resolve them?
