    Hi all,

I have an issue which I don't know how to solve:
    I have a Windows 2003 R2 EE server on a Sun v20z. I have a LSI Logic 22320-R
SCSI Controller and to this attached an external storage with some RAID
    arrays.

If I call the disk management a few times (sometimes once, sometimes more
often)the logical disk manager service will hang on "Starting" and of course
disk management MMC freezes. Then I have to shutdown the server to get it
    working again.

The strange things about it are the following:
    - This only happens if I have more than 2 partitions defined on the external
    storage
    - When I take a WinXP, put the LSI in and attach the storage, this problem
    does not occur

Can anyone think of you why this might happen?

    Thanks a lot,
    The Kirschi
