Low Disk Space Alerts in the System Monitor on SBS 03

Discussion in 'Windows Server' started by Digital Hands, Jul 7, 2006.

  1. There is a default low disk space alert that is configured on Windows SBS
2003 to send us an alert in an email when there is low disk space.

The problem is that when a user swaps hard drives at the site, we receive an
low disk space alert in an email stating the following:

    Drive Letter: HarddiskVolume9
    Free Disk Space: 0.000000. MB
    % Free Disk Space: 0.000000.%

Is there a way to avoid this alert being sent out when the user swaps hard
drives other than placing an exclusion on the alert to run during time
    periods?
