I have Windows XP Media Center Edition but I can no longer get the Program
Guide to download TV channel guide information. It says there is Low Guide
Data and says its Guide Server Error 33. Can anyone help me resolve this so
that I can download updated guide information?

  2. Error 33 is usually caused by your system time or time zone being set incorrectly.

    Hi doug:

I am having the same problem. When I try to go thru setup then I get unknown
discovery service error code:14. I have correct date, time and zone. I
entered correct zip code. This was working fine and it just stop. I delteded
content of egp directory to no avail. I can go to zap2it.com via explorer.

Why is this setup so difficult?
