LSASRV Error 6035 - HELP!

Discussion in 'Windows Server' started by Hunter French, Feb 15, 2005.

  1. Our webmaster is having problems logging in to Windows based PCs and servers
on our domain. After a little checking I found the following error
corresponding to each time she tried to login:

    ---------
    Event Type: Warning
    Event Source: LsaSrv
    Event Category: None
    Event ID: 6035
    Date: 2/15/2005
    Time: 2:08:15 PM
    User: N/A
    Computer: ADMIN3
    Description:
During a logon attempt, the user's security context accumulated too many
security IDs. This is a very unusual situation. Remove the user from some
global or local groups to reduce the number of security IDs to incorporate
    into the security context.
    User's SID is S-1-5-21-282008672-553125114-666385194-17013
If this is the Administrator account, logging on in safe mode will enable
Administrator to log on by automatically restricting group memberships.

    ---------

She is only in 4 groups and these groups are NOT nested. Her account is new
and was recreated (because of this problem) about a month ago. The only thing
she has been doing is creating subwebs on our web server. Would this cause
the SID to grow? If so, is there any way around that?

    Any ideas are greatly appreciated.

    Sincerely,
    Hunter
