I have tried a beta trial of virtual pc 2004 , and i have
    had many many problems .
One of the most important ones was when i installed emm386
running DOS emulated , and i got no support for shared
folders , the share folder device seemed not to work with
parameters like ram noems and so . I need expanded memory
to work with a very ancient program and i need also folder
    share support .
If anybody has tried this with succes i would be glad to
hear to their experience .how can it be that this program
behaves so strange when installing programs like msdos 6.22
    from the same company .
i have also realiced that the emulated operating system
crashes when trying to install qemm ram manager under MSDOS
    6.22 emulated system .

    thanks a lot

  2. The folder sharing driver is not compatible with EMM386. The ability to
execute the necessary operations from user mode code has been disabled in
VPC2004 for security reasons. Unfortunately, EMM386 runs DOS applications in
user mode, including the fshare program, so this has been broken.

For QEMM, I think you need to explicitly specify which UMBs it can use. Make
sure you include the area CC00-DFFF, but exclude everything else.
