What is the maximum number of users and mailboxes that I
can create on A SBS2k and exchange server?
There are a mixture of internal and OWA users!!

    Thanks in advance

  2. You can create an unlimited number of users/mailboxes in AD. However, you
are only allowed legally to use those accounts depending on the type and
amount of CALs that you have. If you have 20 Device CALs you can access as
many accounts as you like with those 20 devices. If you have 20 User CALs
you are only allowed to access the accounts pertaining to those 20 specific
    users.

Isn't the number of concurrent authenticated connections a factor ? If the
OWA clients are only connected for mail service he may be able to support
several OWA users because of their limited connection duration ??

  4. SBS is not licensed per concurrent connections... if you have a device CAL
it belongs to a specific device (same thing goes for user CALs). You cannot
switch CALs back and forth between users/devices. Even if the user/device is
only for OWA accesss (for a limited-time connection) you need to get CALs
for each one accessing that way.
