    Hi,
I can not setup the Satellite box with MCE 2005: MCE 2005 does not want to
learn the IR signal from the set-top box remote. It was doing that fine with
    MCE2004.

Is this an open bug in MCE 2005?

    regards,
    Mario

  2. Hi Mario,

What is the make and model of the set-top box? Thanks.

    Hi Andy,

    thanks for your reply.

In the meantime I have found the root cause for my problem. It seems to be
that the different sources of light (fluorescent lamp, daylight) interfere
with the signal of the RC, although I hold the RC very close to the receiver
and the batteries of the RC were brand new.

Now we have in the middle of the night, I have switched of the light in my
    office and now it works.

    regards,
