MCE 2005 installation problems...I need an expert.

I just installed an MCE 2005 upgrade to my HP m370n
computer. When I try to load the Media Center from a
taskbar shortcut, I get an error, "Your Video card or
drivers are not compatible with Media Center". I have
downloaded and installed all the latest drivers that I can
find. I have a Radeon 9200 card. The PC is approved for
    the upgrade by HP.

When I get the Media Center loaded (It loads after getting
the initial error), I can't access TV. I get the error,
"Video Error: Files needed to display video are not
installed or not working correctly. Please restart Media
Center and/or restart the computer." Needless to say, I've
done this several times (They say that insanity is doing
the same thing over and over, but expecting different
    results). BTDT

    Here's some additional data:

-- When I look at the Control Panel>System>General page,
it shows that I have Windows XP, MCE 2002, SP2 installed

-- I don't show an icon or program folder for MCE in the
Start>Program window. I just see the shortcut that's on
the taskbar from my previous installation

-- In reading previous messages, could I have put in the
wrong COA which would have me not upgrading properly?

-- I don't see how to re-install MCE. How can I resolve this.

I'm really at a loss, guys. Does anyone have a silver bullet?

    Thanks!

  2. Sounds like the DVD decoder is not installed properly. I think that HP
had some updates that they wanted you to install prior to running the
    MCE 2005 upgrade.
