Another question I just came up with...

Do I NEED a monitor hooked up at all times? or can I do the initial setup of
MCE and then unplug my monitor and just use my TV at all times?

You can just use your TV after you get set up :)

  3. It depends. Is the only thing you want to do with this box using the MCE
"10-foot" interface? If so, you can see it fine on your TV. If you also want
to do things like emai/surf/game, then your TV may not have sufficient
resolution for you to read the standard font's characters. What kind of TV
do you have, what kinds of inputs does it have, what video card do you have,
and finally what kinds of outputs does it have?

Nope, no need at all. You don't even really need a keyboard or mouse,
simply Remote Desktop in to that machine if you have another networked
computer and you can do all your other system duties that way, such as
    apply updates, etc.
