MCE learning IR codes - does it cope with toggled IR codes?

    I'm simply curious about this
    ....does anyone have a definitive answer?

    Is this assumption correct:
    * MCE is only able to LEARN non-toggled IR codes from an STB's remote?
    * MCE's own remote "always" fires toggled IR codes? (by default anyways)

    Does anyone have the skinny on this?

  2. I know MCE remote can learn two IR codes one for vol up and down (for your
    amp), and one for TV on and off.

    Thanks for the response, however that's not what I was after.

    It's more about *if* MSFT forgot to support "toggled IR codes" when learning
    codes. Meanwhile...they decided to use toggled IR-codes on their own
    remote. (See the irony?)

    It's a bit useful to know, I thought.
