MCE (2005) settings/recorder/recorder storage shows 6Gb of free space and
yet when I go to record a movie I get an explanation mark and a message
saying not enough disc space for recording. Where does one go in this
program to get to the bottom of this?

What setting do you record on? Remember that it can use up to 4Gb (I
think) an hour to record.. if your film is longer than 1 1/2 hours, you
    don't have enough space...

  3. Also keep in mind that there is a setting in MCE that limits how much of
your hard disk it will use. You should verify that it is set to use as much
    as you expect.

I am getting something similar. My TV recorder limits are set to 110GB's for
TV out of a 111 GB disk, my disk space used is on 100 GB's and yet the
recorder minutes that can be recorded shows 0 Minutes. I decided to remove
some files so that the disk space used is 90 GB's which gives me 4 hours and
20 minutes but if I reduce my TV Recorder Limits to 100 GB's then again it
wipes out what I can record to almost 0. It appears to be ignoring 10 GB's of
TV recording space. This definitely worked fine up until a month ago.

    Anybody have any ideas?
