I have created several mp3 playlists in windows media player and am able to
access and play the contet through the media center pc, however, I am unable
see these play lists on the MCX. I have ensure the folders are added through
MCX without success. I also have an existing playlist on MCX for which the
MCX cannot find the content, nor can I delete this playlist. Also none of
the default autoplay lists work since the MCX cannot find the content.
Playing individual songs or recorded TV and pictures work fine. Any
    suggestions?

  2. It sounds like your music library is out of sync with your actual content
    and playlists.

It's a bit heavy-handed, but an easy way to get this straightened out is to
rebuild your music library, which you can trigger by removing and re-adding
    your MCX:
    - Launch the MCX Manager (Start --> All Programs --> Accessories --> Media
Center --> Media Center Extender Manager)
    - Select your Extender, click Properties, select Remove.
    - Select File --> Add a new Extender... and type in the 8-digit code
displayed on the TV your MCX is connected to

Note that you'll need to tell your MCX where to find your videos, pictures,
and music again after you do this.
