Media Center Edition Host module corrupt

Discussion in 'Windows Media Center' started by Anthony Davis, Nov 6, 2003.

  1. Hi, I've recently been having a major problem with my
MCE, video isn't working all of a sudden, no changes to
any drivers, all of sudden while watching TV the I get a
message similar to "Sorry for the inconvience Media
Center Edition host module is has been corrupt and will
    be shut down"

Has anyone seen anything similar to this and if so how do
    I correct this.

  3. Anthony Davis -

    Need some info...

What is the Vendor and Model of your MC PC?

Have you spoken with the vendor's customer support, and if so, what did they
    say?

What software or hardware have you recently installed that might have
    effected the MC?

    Thanks...
