Media Player 10/LG Chocolate phone

Discussion in 'Windows Media Player' started by classychica13, Aug 25, 2006.

  1. I recently got the LG Chocolate phone. The problem is that Windows Media
Player will not recognize that the phone is connected. The computer
recognizes it, but the Media Player does not. The Media Player says "Device
Not Detected". I have the SD Memory Card and I have formatted it. I have
tried switching out the phone, the Music Essentials Kit, and the computer. I
have also downloaded the Media Player 10 version from the site, thinking that
maybe it was a software problem. Nothing has worked. Is anyone else having
this problem? And if so can you please help me?

Thank God I am not crazy. I have been on the phone w/VZW since last week and
I am still have a problem w/the chocolate recognizing the device. I read
from another person complaining that the essentials kit is a waste of money
and all you need is you SD card/formatted download the music to the card and
transfer it to the phone by inserting the card into your phone. I will give
that a try and see what happens. IN the meantime, if anyone else have any
suggestions or sure fire solutions, please forward.
