For some reason I am getting allocated memory alerts from just installed
SBS2003 R2 std boxes. These are all at diifrenet client sites. I follow the
    advice from the book
on Small Business Server 2003 Advanced best practices. Make the change to the
boot.ini file for 3GB switch, and edit regist. for memory frag fix and
    timeout settings.
Should I be using these with R2 or not. I used the Microsoft utilitie for
SQL to set memory usage. I still get the alert once every day on each box. 1
    of the boxes
have MS2005 SQL std and the other Pervasive SQL. All boxes have Xeon's and
2GB memory, and only 8 to 15 users. I would like to now how to stop this
from happening on current and future installs.
    Thanks,
    Guy

  4. Not recommeded for a SBS box to use the /3gig
If you read the KBs SBS is already pre-tweaked. We don't use/don't do
    the /3gb
