messenger & AOL instant messenger

    Can the Microsoft messenger and AOL Instant Messenger
    work together. ie, I only want to use one application to
    communicate with all people.

    Greetings Robert,

    No, MSN Messenger or Windows Messenger only operates on the .NET Messenger network and AOL
    Instant Messenger only operates on AOL's Instant Messaging network (which does include ICQ
    however).

    If you want one single application to access both, you might want to check out something like
    Trillian:
