    Hi,

I just installed MSN messenger on XP, and when it asked me for my passport,
I entered my standard one, and now it automatically logs in with it without
ever prompting me for my password.

How do I make it ask me for my password each time? I never checked any
    "remember password" option.

NOTE: I'm not looking to disable the auto-load or auto-login features. I
just want to make it so someone else cannot log on as me on this computer
    without my password.

    Thanks!

  2. Greetings Jon,

To remove the saved password, click the Start Button, then click the Control Panel. Then,
click User Accounts in the Control Panel. Select your account name, and then on the left
side of the screen, under Related Tasks, click 'Manage my Network Passwords'. In the window
that opens, click the Passport.Net\* (Passport) entry and click 'Remove'. Then restart
    Messenger to see the change.

  5. I am also having this issue. I think it is a bug with 6.2. I NEVER chose to have my username/password stored, but each time I log into MSN Messenger, it does just that: store my login information.

I have saved a shortcut to "My Network Passwords" and have to delete my account info each time.
