Microsoft File Transfer Manager error 12045 on MSDN

    I just wanted to post the resolution to this error message so that
    anyone else looking for the resolution on google will not have to do
    the same thing that I did and search all over the internet. You can
    find the resolution to this issue in the post below. Check your
    Application Event log and you will find the error specified below as
    well.

    Failed auto update retrieval of third-party root list sequence number
    from:
    <http://www.download.windowsupdate.com/msdownload/update/v3/static/trustedr/en/authrootseq.txt>
    with error: The server returned an invalid or unrecognized response
