microsoft office 2000 vs. microsoft pro 2000

    I am not sure of this?
    my laptop is using microspft office first off is it XP or not?
    when i call for support they ask me im not sure?
    also for my job i need to run office pro 2000 is that the same as office?
    I triied to install microsoft office pro 2000 and it will not finish?

    I have a few concerns here all in one
    I just want my laptop to run effiiciently

    You need a license for each version of Office you're going to run. That
    said, post more info (including errors) when you repost this in a more
    appropriate newsgroup. Best of luck!
