I already use vista you insulting horrid creature you.... I just don't like
    it and prefer XP
I have been using it long before you even heard about it...

It is related because many people come here wondering if they should switch
    to vista...

The longer they can remain with XP the better the hardware will become
during that time... and when they finally select
to go to vista they will be able to buy a 4 or even 8 core machine. Vista
needs power because its a bloat monster.

Also service packs and other fixes will be out.

MS however said that this news in that article unfortunately was incorrect..
as I predicted some time ago..

they will delay XPsp3 as long as possible so that people will switch to
vista... Now they are back to the 2008 story.

The only reliable source for that would be Microsoft: Not someone claimng
"MS said" etc.. This post was a waste of time & I won't bother with the
    link in anyway.

What the hell are you going on about? I asked how SP3 for XP has anything to
do with vista... I'm not interested in the drool on your keyboard :-S

You seem to predict a lot... Why aren't you the richest man in the world?

I love you tiberius, have my babies... you're sooooooo smart
    *earth-shattering sarcasm*

I explained to you that sp3 for xp does interest the people who come in here
wondering about if they should get
vista yet. There were rumors that perhaps there would never be a sp3

Ok ok, I'm going to try and be VERY civil here.

PLEASE!!! Please stop posting useless information in here. Stop trying to
change everyone's opinion to the way you think. Everyone is different... We
don't live in communist societies here. Most people here don't want to hear
that XP is better than Vista. Its only your opinion. Your not the
moderator/news reporter for everyone. Anybody that does read your posts have
already read it or heard about it. Nobody cares what you think about Vista.

I like it, others like it. I could never go back to XP. But thats me. You
don't see me posting trash all over the XP newsgroup do you? Are you
starting to see why your posts are very annoying and a waste of yours, ours,
    and everyone elses time?

PLEASE stop posting trash. Please post only if you are going to help
someone. You are worse than KJP when he was around (Just FYI). I can
remember him posting some stupid thing that microsoft should recall Vista
because music notes (caused by nvidia!!!) flashed during setup... "Show
stopping bug" he says. They were the days... And now your making it worse.

    You're right Frank, I apologize.
I realize I've been picking on you and it just isn't fair by golly.

someday with enough counseling and guidance, I hope to re-enter society and
be just as well adjusted as you are.
can you recommend a good shrink? who do you see?

I LIKE Vista -- on my laptop -- and as with a lot of people, I like to have
XP on my desktop where its stability helps me through a lot of the Vista
    hassles of its growing up.

So if there are posts that relate to XP (other than redundant comparisons)
they are helping me keep my sanity sometimes dealing with Vista, which I am
liking more as time goes on, but can be a major PITA a lot of the time.

Newsgroups ought to have threads the way forums do. Then there could be
subgroups for "Vista Sucks", "XP Rules", "Flaming Assholes", and all that,
and at least one thread could address serious Vista issues.

  18. Hi Julie

One thing to remember when responding to a known troll is that they have
already won. They post their off topic drivel for one reason and one reason
only, and that is to get a response. Any response.

If you click the Reply button, it doesn't matter what you post, they win,
period. If you also quote their message, then that is just icing on the cake
    for them.

Since you are using Outlook Express to post, it's very easy to make their
posts invisible. Just click Message/Block Sender on the toolbar. This makes
these newsgroups much more pleasant to read.

    right Frank, you are smarter.
in fact, you're smarter than every person here.

after all, you're running every known software:
from: Re: Anyone able to run Vista successfully?
"Well guess what! I use 3 installs of Vista Ultimate as the primary
computers in my small marketing/advertising business. I have just about
every known software loaded and working perfectly."
    - Frank
(does that include Leisure Suit Larry for Linux?)

...and you have "some Degree's" [sic]:
Re: Vista disk activity driving me insane
"Oh...could it be that Frank maybe has some Degree's you don't have?
    What do you think punk?"
    - Frank
(yea, more than one roll-on deodorant)

wish I could say those things... really.
    i'm so ashamed.

    but speaking of games...

    Coming this Fall on Fox:
the new Jeff Foxworthy show... "Are You Smarter than Frank?"
    - the game show where --everyone-- is a winner...! (How can they not be??)
    (snort) (smirk) (belch) (fart) (sniff)

hmm, you better decide, you're smarter

    Are we not? :)

Read your own replies and how people scared away dissatisfied users.

No offense, but pointing finger is always easier :)
