    I installed an active X application related to my Bank's internet security
    package and now everytime I go to its website the following error message
    appears and IE is terminated right after I hit the OK button:

    "Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library
    Runtime Error!
    Program: C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\iexplorer.exe
    This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way.
    Please contact the application's support team for more information."

    Can anybody help me out with it?

    Hi,
    Which version of Windows?
    Which version of Internet Explorer?
    Is the ActiveX application compatible with those versions?
    Is the ActiveX control necessary?
    Check the bank's website for a "Help" or "Contact us" link.
