Before Using Active Directory Migration Tool version 3

    4. Assign appropriate credentials for performing migration tasks.

Bullet - To migrate computers, you must be a member of the Administrators
group in both the source domain and target domain and a member of the
Administrators group on each computer that is being migrated.

    --------------------------------------------------------

My question is, will being a member of the AD Domain admin group on the
source and target domains satify the above requirement or do I have to add
the respective domain administrators as an administrator to each computer I
want to migrate. If the latter, can I do this using group policy or do I have
to personally visit each PC to add the domain administrators as computer
    administrators?

  2. Hello Steve,

    Thank you for using newsgroup!

Based on my knowledge, you do not need to add the domain administrator to
computer administrator group. If you have been added the domain, the domain
admin account has been added to local administrator group.

    Thanks & Regards,
