    Hi,
I have a number of Vista machines running in workgroup mode with local
profiles that I need to migrate into a Windows SBS 2003 domain. What is the
best way to migrate the profiles and maintain settings ?
    Regards
    Michael

Create user and computer accounts on the SBS box. Then join the computers
with ConnectComputer. During the wizard you will have the option to choose a
    local profile from the box.

Don't forget to patch the SBS box before joining the Vista computers.

  5. Michael,

ConnectComputer is a standard part of SBS in joining workstation to the SBS
domain. If you don't know about ConnectComputer, I'm concerned about how
much you may know or don't know about SBS.
