    Hi,
I have AD with Win2k3, I need to use mobile profiles to some users, well..
I have tested the profiles, all is OK but only a problem is present, When
the user open his mailbox in MS Outlook 2003 SP3, the mailbox load and
suddenly appears in the task bar a windows say "Microsoft Forms" and I can
not operate nothing in the Desktop or other windows,
The Mail server is ORACLE Colaboration Suite and the client use a Oracle
    Connector to access to server.
Well I think the problem is with this.... so, Do someone work with this
    enviroment?..or what happen with this?
I am happy with your comments.

    Regards.

Is it one user or all of your users? If one, then it is a specific issue
with that profile. If all, then I would look at your Oracle mail server
config and post to the Oracle help forums. Also, if it is happening to all
Mobile users (example, using Windows Mobile 5 or 6??) I would still get help
    from Oracle.

Well, there is a complete documentation for OCS on the Oracle web
site. But I can't find the right spot in there to help me with configuring
    OCS for first ...

this error appears only in mobile profiles,
but only once time, but this error windows appears back to the outlook
window and i can not move any window. only I can close this error window from
task panel, right clic and close.
appears only if a user login first time in a computer.

Also, with respect mobiel profiles what are the configurations that save in
server? when there is sincronizations?...in login , in logoff??....when? so,
I save something in My documents but dont save this in mi server (moble
    profile)

Or I need to configure in a GPO?

Another problem there is, I guess, My clients are winXP and 2000, then
change from win2k dont appears in windows XP or profiles server.

Some body have links of mobile profiles????

    Thanks

Sounds like you want to make sure you log the user on to the WIndows Mobile
unit first and test it before giving it to them.

Profiles are workstation based (user's PC, WIndows Mobile unit, etc). They
are not stored on Exchange, but then again you have Oracle, so I can't
comment on that. If you install the phone's Windows Mobile software onto the
user's workstation, you may be able to work with the profile and save
    settings, etc.

Here's a generic Google search, but I am not sure if it will be helpful.
    Take a look:

Maybe try this newsgroup for better help:
    microsoft.public.pocketpc.activesync

I also cross-posted it to that newsgroup so the responses will go to both
this thread and to that group.

I normally snip the extraneous conversations when replying to a post, but in
this case I left the conversations in this thread so the folks in that group
can read what you were asking.

  5. In my previous post, I forgot to cross-post it for you. This post is
    cross-posted to both:
    microsoft.public.windows.server.active_directory
    and
    microsoft.public.pocketpc.activesync

Follow-ups are set to both newsgroups.
