My client is running Exchange 2003 SP2. When they go to the Mobile Admin page\nthey can bring up the user's device just fine. But when they try to do the\nremote wipe the page hangs for about 2 minutes and then they get the\nfollowing:\n\nServer Error in '/MobileAdmin' Application.\nRequest timed out.\nAn unhandled exception occurred during the execution of the current web\nrequest.\nException Details: System.Web.HttpException: Request timed out\nStack Trace:\n[HttpException (0x80004005): Request timed out.]\n\nIf they do this more than twice then all activesync connectivity (for all\ndevices) seems to fail and you can no longer use the Mobileadmin utility (503\nerror) and we find that the Exchange Application pool under IIS becomes hung\nnecessitating a restart of the IISAdmin service (and dependent services);\n\nI have asked them to de-install and re-install the latest Activesync Admin\nsoftware - but there was no difference in functionality - including after a\nreboot.\n\nWhat else can I check? I see no security problems - and all configurations\non IIS virtual directories appear correct.\n\nOne final note - the server is web published behind an ISA 2004 firewall;\nApart from the wipe feature - all synchronization with the iPhone devices\nworks fine.
