    Hello,

On our SBS2003 Standard server I use our modem sometimes to login to our
Partner PBX phone system. What happens is when I disconnect, and wish to
reconnect there is an error stating that my modem port is not availabe. Once
this happens the only way for me to reconnect is to shut down the server. Who
    wants to do that!

Is there a specific process I can look for in services or Task manager that
I can shut-off and then reactivate. Our modem is recognized as a Conexant
    soft 56 modem.

    Thanks,
    Greg

I will need to get that external modem then. On a side note, if I wish to
change a computer name on one of our client computers, and keep his mailbox,
settings, etc all the same, do I just change the computename on the client
and will that upsate the SBS,? Do I need to changehe computer name for the
client on the server? ()I did not see an option to do this on the server
since the clienst computer name is greyed out.

    Thanks,
    Greg
