Modifying Favorite URL Properties

When I used to update the URL by right clicking on a favorite and going to
properties, a box would pop up that I would modify. Since I upgraded to IE7
and tried to do that, a box does pop up, but then it moves to the back of the
open windows and the only way that I can access it is to shrink IE7 and then
    modify that little window.

In addition, if I try to delete obsolute URLs by dropping down the favorites
window, the drop down used to remain open, so that I can delete one URL after
the other. Now, the dropdown menu closes and I have to hit favorites on the
menu bar again to delete the next URL.

Please tell me how to overcome these two problems.

    Hi,
I think you'll have better luck with these operations from the Favorites
Center. Click the gold star at the left side of the toolbar, then click the
green left arrow in the Favorites Center to pin it open.

Or... Ctrl+Shift+i opens and pins the Favorites Center. Ctrl+i opens it but
    doesn't pin it open.

The problem of IE7 stealing focus *may* be this (below) problem...

886217- New program window appears behind all other open windows on Windows
2000, Windows XP or Windows Server 2003
    http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=886217

Note (in that article) that TweakUI can make the registry edit, if you don't
    wish to do it manually.

The UNDO file at http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/xp_tweaks.htm (line #66
right-side) makes the same registry edit.

    Hope this helps,
    Don
