Mouse droppings and mouse pointer update problems

    Virtual PC 2007. Win98
    Host is desktop with Asus m2a-vm with Amd Phenom. 4gb ram. 512MB for virtual
    machine, 64GB virtual hard drive. MS Intellimouse usb.

    The mouse works, but as I move it across the desktop, it leaves a trail of
    mouse pointers on the screne. Also, the position of the pointer can be hard
    to tell because when I move the mouse, the pointer is not always displayed
    in the new position. Performance is fine, keyboard works fine.
