    Guys,

I am seeking advice on moving print queues (reassigning to users). We have
built a new print server but most of the print queues have different names
from the old server. About 400 users are still using the old print queues
    off the old printer server.

Our OU are considered organized. Right now we don’t implement login script
to add the printers (political reasons I guess). Anyways, looking to
automate this process to move about 400 users to the new print server

Any suggestions? I have looked at having a script that we can put on the
top level of the domain so when users logged in, it writes printer
information to a text file. Then maybe we can use that information and
create one large bat file and place it on the top level so if the 400 users
that are on the bat file, it will add printers during login.

Is this a good approach? Anybody have a better idea or experience something
    similar?

My concern is having one large bat file tailor to the 400 users might freeze
    up the network, etc

Our AD and print server are Windows 2003 Ent. with SP1.

    Thanks in advance,
    Tnt
