  3. The version number of my MsJet40.dll in C:\Windows\SysWOW64 is 4.0.9025.0.
Do I still need to install the Jet 4.0 SP8? And, will this add the ODBC
driver for Access in the available data source window?

MS Access is not installed on the server. Do I need to install it?

    Thank you.

Is this 64 bit OS? You might try asking them in data.oledb and or data.odbc
