After downloading all the other updates, the WSUS server is failing to
download 05-025 & 05-026 the first being for 2003 server and the second
    being for XP.

The error being logged in event view is

    Event Type: Error
Event Source: Windows Server Update Services
    Event Category: Synchronization
    Event ID: 364
    Date: 17/06/2005

    Description:
Content file download failed. Reason: The RPC server is unavailable.
    Source File:
    /msdownload/update/v5/psf/windowsxp-kb896358-x86-enu_3354af78e82c9bc7f82863855ffdf5f84ed252ab.psf
    Destination File:
    E:\WSUS\WsusContent\AB\3354AF78E82C9BC7F82863855FFDF5F84ED252AB.psf.

In the WSUS logs I'm getting entries like...

    005-06-17 14:52:04.121 UTC Error wsusservice.3547

Up until these 2 updates it had been going well with the downloads and
all other files were downloaded ok.
