MS08-037 and reboots

    I've look all through the kb but I don't see a requirement for restarts on
    w2k and w2k3 did I miss something. Please note I've have not even tried the
    install yet, I guess I could an then cancel the reboot until later!

  2. Yes, it will need a reboot. Look at all the files it updates. There are
    quite a number of them.

    Here's more info on this hotfix:

    Running an netstat -ab is just displaying the 2500 UDP ports that have been
    reserved, but not necessarily in use.
