MSN 7 handwriting problems - Help would be appreciated!

    Hi, I have a graphics tablet with latest drivers
    installed (an MD 41217 apparently...). It works fine
    within windows generally, and in all programs such as
    Paint Shop Pro etc, and even within Messenger until I do
    one thing - send a handwritten message to somebody. The
    second I click this button to write a handwritten message
    the cursor randomly jumps and clicks the top-left of the
    screen, making it impossible to send a message, or even
    use the tablet within windows until I restart the
    computer or use the mouse. I have the latest version of
    MSN (7.0.0777) and have all updates including tablet PC
    journal viewer from Windows Update, and really have no
    more ideas! Oh and I am using Windows XP. Can anybody
    offer any advice/possible solutions to this rather
    strange and annoying problem? Thanks
