My card doesn't show up in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\NetworkCa

Discussion in 'Windows Vista Drivers' started by Fredrik Jansson, Jun 27, 2006.

  1. Hi!

    When I look in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows
NT\CurrentVersion\NetworkCards\ I see all network cards installed but the
one I have written a miniport driver for.

Is there a special API call I have to make from the driver to register it?
Or do I respond to an OID in an erroneous way?

    Best regards

  2. Just want to add its a NDIS-WDM miniport with a corresponding WDM(cardbus)
driver that triggers the load of the miniport driver.

  3. This is not related to your driver being an NDISWDM driver. You can take a
look at the NDIS-WDM driver sample in DDK.
