    hi,

this morning all of the sudden i cannot tell which picture is what in my
    pictures folder.
they are all a little picture of mountains with water and blue sky.
i have always been able to see which pic is what without have to open it.

i have already tried the viewing options , smaller or extra large.
i have also played with the properties, i have tried having the default
    program as
    windows photo gallery
    and paint

i'm pretty sure the default program has always been windows photo gallery,
so i'm really not sure what is up with this.

    can anyone enlighten me ?

    thanks.

  2. In the pictures folder:

'Organize' button -> 'Folder & Search Option' -> 'View' tab -> clear the
checkbox labeled 'Always show icons, never thumbnails'
