I have created 2 domains. The first domain is named "great" and second
domain is named "bad". The great domain consist of two NT 4 servers. The
bad domain contains one windows 2000 server. The workstations trying to
login to the two domains have windows 98 as its OS.

I want to be able to setup my network to log into the bad (w2k server)
domain and access the two nt servers as well. When I try this within
    Windows 98, I get a
" you must supply a password" with a UNC \\bad\ipc$. No password I enter
    works.

Note: when i do this on a windows xp machine, it works like a charm. It
has something to do with the NET LOGON command I believe.

Can someone help me on finding an answer to this problem? Any help is
    appreciated. Thanks
