Need administrator rights for embeded Media Player

  1. I am unable to play media (audio or video) from sites that launch the
embedded media player when I am logged into my power user account.
There are no problems when I am logged into my administrator account,

Specific sites are cjad.com (listen live) and nhl.com(--> scores - video
    highlights for each game).

This used to work fine until a few months ago. I thought it was the
installation of Comcast Rhapsody that caused the problem, but now I am
thinking that a security patch may have clamped down on a registry entry.

    Anyway, is there a solution?
Please don't say that I should be running with admin rights - you will lose
all credibility. I tried launching the browser with "Run as..." to run it
with my admin account credentials, but that also failed.

    Thank you very much.

  2. Sorry, forgot to mention that I am running XP Pro with Media Player
    10.00.00.3802.
