Network Connectivity Status Indicator

I used to get local access only about once a day but after I installe
avast 5 it happens all the time. I have tried alot of different fixe
that people have suggested on different forums but nothing works. I hav
tried to ping these two addresses: 207.46.131.206 and 131.107.255.25
that have to do with the Network Connectivity Status Indicator but bot
of them time out. Can someone try to ping these two addresses and see i
they time out for you? Could this maybe the problem causing the loca
access only? The only other thing I can think of maybe causing this i
my at&t motorola 2210-02 dsl modem. Can anyone help me out here

 

Ping those two IP addresses timeout an local access only may not be related.
Can you access the Internet? Post the result of ipconfig /all may help.

Try to uninstall Avast. If it helps, then find out if you are configuring
Avast correctly, or get rid of it all together.
For Anti Virus/Spyware you can use the Free and excellent Microsoft Product.
