    Hi,

I hope someone can help. Up until recently I used to liten the radio from
Ireland everyday in work. I live abroad so it was a great way to pass the
day. When I click on the station in media player, it says "connecting to
media", "locating media" and then back to "connecting to media". Finally I
get this message "Windows Media Player cannot play any items in this
playlist. For additional information, right-click an item that cannot be
played, and then click Error Details".

Can anyone help? Can I simply change ports?

    John.

I just wanted to let you know that I have encountered the same problem, out
of the blue. I used the FM radio for years without any problems and now all
of a sudden I get this message that Media Player is unable to play the
    selection.
If anyone has a fix I would appreciate hearing it.

Just to let you all know that the reason for my problem is that management
have decided to restrict acces to the radio. I'm told that you can apparentyl
tunnel around the problem. If anyone can offer advice on this it would be
    helpful.
    I miss my radio

I'm on a stand alone PC at home so I don't have the "restrictive management"
issue. I would appreciate any advice anyone can provide as to how to fix
    this. Thanks

    Hi,

I have the same problem months ago. Last week I was searching for a program
to watch live TV and after I downloaded a program (no remember which one it
was) and installed Opera, I manged to watch streaming video and live music,
but not with the WMP, but with the "media player classic". After I formatted
my HD and reinstalled Windows XP, WMP worked fine for the first day, and the
second day, nothing!! I'm sure it is not a problem of the websites, but I'm
sure 100% it is a problem with WMP. I don't think there is a solution for
this right now and I hope Microsoft is working on that. If there any
solution, I would appreciate it. From my side, if I mange to make it work
with "media player classic", I'll post it here.

    Thanks a lot
