No display of decimal point on Windows update filesizes

Discussion in 'Windows Update' started by Nicholas Sherlock, Dec 27, 2003.

  1. Hey all,

My computer is set for New Zealand locale options - the
seperator that should be displaying for decimal point
should be ".". But the decimal point doesn't display AT
ALL on the filesizes of any of the available Windows
updates - many updates appear to be ten times larger than
they tally up to be on the "Review and install updates"
page (where the decimal separator displays properly). At
least four other people I have talked to (in New Zealand,
not sure if this is a locale specific issue) have the same
    problem.

    Cheers,
    Nicholas Sherlock

    Hi Nicholas,

Check the "No. of digits after decimal" in the Regional and Language
Options, verify this is set to "2"

Control Panel > Regional and Language Options
    Select "Customize"
Verify the value of "No. of digits after decimal" is set to "2"

    Let us know the outcome.

    Thanks,
    Lucy [MS]
