Spec of server is as follows....

    Dell PowerEdge 800
2 160 GB SATA drives model no WD1600JD-75HBB0
Set up in RAID 1 configuration with logical drives C and D

12 GB (hardly any free space on drive C)
136 GB (about 65 GB free space on D)

C is the drive with the operating system on

Have temporarily increased the free space on C: by moving files, deleting
any temp files etc, but need a longer term solution by adding extra hard
    drive capacity.

Am I correct in thinking the steps I need to do this are as follows..

    1) Use hard disk cloning software to clone drive D (any recommended)
    2) Clone drive C
    3) Break the RAID
    4) Add extra hard drive capacity (Am thinking at the moment of perhaps 2
WD3200JDs set up in RAID 1)
    5) Partition the new RAID set up into C and D
    6) Copy the clones back to C and D and set C as the active partition
