non-domain admins to approve updates to clients

    Can technician that are not in the domain admin group approve updates to
    clients on WSUS 3? if not is there a way, I can do that with out making them
    domain admins?

  2. There are two requirements:
    [a] The workstation must be a member of the domain housing the WSUS
    Server, or the member of a domain with a domain trust to the domain housing
    the WSUS Server.
    The user must be a member of the WSUS Administrators group on the
    WSUS Server.

    There is no requirement for a WSUS Administrator to be a member of the
    Domain Admins group.
