not able to send/recieve on my windows mail

  1. i click the recieve send all mail button and i get this message

    The connection to the server has failed. Account: 'pop.embarqmail.com',
    Server: 'pop.embarqmail.com', Protocol: POP3, Port: 110, Secure(SSL): No,
    Socket Error: 10061, Error Number: 0x800CCC0E

    i have used my windows mail for months and out of nowhere it stopped
    allowing me to send or recieve mail. this program is on my laptop, attached
    to an internet line. i dont understand whats wrong and i would be greatfull
    if someone could help me out thank you

  3. Your settings appear to be correct.
    One thing you should try as a possible quick fix is to delete that
    mail account, restart Windows Mail, then recreate that account.

    Are you able to surf to different websites without any problems?
