NT 4.0 NetBIOS domain name contains a dot character

    Hi all,

    Our NT 4.0 NetBIOS domain name contains a dot, as
    in "COMP.COM". I have searched high and low to try and
    find a definitive answer as to whether or not this name
    is likely to cause any problems or issues when we upgrade
    to W2K3 Active Directory and start using DNS. Any help or
    guidance would be very much appreciated.
