    Hi all,

I was wondering if there was a site, e-mail address, or
online form to submit ideas or suggestions to the
developers of MSN messanger. Does anyone know how you go
    about doing this?

I recently downloaded the latest version, MSN Messenger
6.2 and was disappointed there was no web cam full screen
feature or web cam recording feature.

Anyone know of any web cam Full screen/recording software
to view the web cam in full screen and record what you
    see in MPG?

Many of the features of Windows Media Player could easily
be incorporated into MSN Messenger since Microsoft makes
    both programs.

  2. Greetings,

The best way is just mentioning it here, I maintain a list which regularly is sent to those
    who need to see it.

If you wish to bypass me, you can make suggestions on MS Wish:

If you wish to record the incoming video screen, you can simply use something like SnagIt or
Camtasia:, which you can encode into MPEG.

There currently is no way to make the Webcam image full-screen, although this is already on
the suggestion list, so maybe we'll see it in the future.

    Good day

Can anybody help to resolve this problem I am facing with
MSN messenger, the problem as follow:

I got window XP professional with SP-1, I tried to
download and upgrade MSN messenger to 6.2, however I
wasn't able and I am getting this message:
An error occurred during the installation of assembly
    HRESULT: -2147024864.

Currently I am using windows messenger 5.0.

    Thank you

  4. Greetings Tigershark,

To find out specifically what's happening, click Start, then Run, type "eventvwr.msc" and
click OK, click Application on the left-side, then look for Error's from the "MsiInstaller"
source. The most recent one should be it, assuming you haven't had any other problems with a
Windows Installer. Double-click the Error, and look in the Description field for a more
    accurate description of the problem.

Assuming you're seeing a problem with Microsoft.Windows.networking.RtCDll, firstly bring up
the Task Manager (press Ctrl-Alt-Del or right-click on your taskbar and choose Task Manager),
click the Processes tab, and look for "msnmsgr.exe" or "msmsgs.exe". If you see either,
click each one and choose 'End Process'. After these processes have been ended (or if
they're not there), close the Task Manager, then click Start, then Run, type:
    and click OK.

You'll then need to find the
folder, the key things being RtcDll and Once you find it, right-click it and choose
Delete. Confirm the operation and then try reinstalling MSN Messenger 6.2.
