I have setup terminal services and licensing for such.
    Now
I have installed Office XP on the box via add/remove
programs. The administrator group can run the
    applications
just fine, but regular users cannot. I see error messages
like the following in event viewer when they attempt to
    launch Office apps:
    Faulting application rundll32.exe, version 5.2.3790.0,
faulting module mso.dll, version 10.0.2625.0, fault
    address 0x00062bb8.
Any help appreciated. I have searched these groups and
    the
KB but can't find out what more I need to do to get
    office
working for my users in term services.

  2. go to www.sysinternals.com and get "filemon.exe"
the problem is in security and with that tool you will be
able to find out to which files users do not have
    permission.

Thanks for the heads up. It's a shame these issues aren't
    more clearly documented somewhere.
